What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.

Our Story

For Reggie, this mission is deeply personal. Growing up in a Deaf family, he rarely saw events created for entire families to enjoy together. Most gatherings were geared toward adults, and hearing families often did not attend. He understands firsthand how isolating that divide can feel and is committed to bridging the gap between Deaf and hearing communities.

Andrea, a sign language interpretation student at SWIC, noticed another challenge. Many events are “no voice” or signing-only spaces, which can feel intimidating for those who are learning ASL or for hearing individuals who want to support the Deaf community but don’t yet know how. As a parent, she also saw how few events were designed with children in mind. Her son, who loves learning sign language, wanted opportunities to connect with other kids — not just attend adult-centered gatherings.

Together, we combined our passions and responded to the needs we saw.

Our Mission

Our vision is to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive community where Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Hearing individuals come together to build understanding, eliminate barriers, and ensure equal access for all.

We are committed to meeting the unique needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing families by expanding access to opportunities, resources, and community engagement that are not always readily available.

Our mission is to:

Plan and host family-friendly inclusive events that bring Deaf and Hearing communities together to connect and learn from one another

Provide education to the Hearing community about Deaf Culture, history, and accessibility

Encourage the learning and use of American Sign Language (ASL)

Partner with local businesses and organizations to promote accessibility needs and promote inclusive practices

Offer interpreting services for events and organizations seeking to create open access

Provide Deaf youth with information and resources about career pathways and future opportunities
